Terms

The terms of sale.

Plain terms for a single digital product. Nothing buried.

Who you are buying from

Survive the Nights is sold by Alwyn Dsouza, an individual, of London. Contact: help@alwyntech.lol.

What you are buying

Survive the Nights is a digital guide supplied as a PDF. It is not a physical book. Nothing is posted to you, and there are no shipping costs. Delivery is by a download link, sent to the email address you give at checkout and also shown on screen immediately after payment.

Price and payment

The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. It includes any tax that applies, and nothing is added at the last step. Customers in India pay in Indian rupees through Razorpay; customers elsewhere pay in US dollars through Stripe. Which one you see is determined by the country your connection appears to come from.

If your own bank charges you a currency-conversion or international fee, that is between you and your bank; we never see it and cannot refund it.

Delivery and access

Your download link stays valid so you can come back to it. If it stops working, or you lose the email, contact us with your order number and we will send it again at no charge.

We aim to keep the site and downloads available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Hosting, payment and email providers all occasionally fail.

What you may and may not do with it

The guide is for you. You may read it, print it, and keep copies for your own household’s use.

You may not:

  • Resell it, or give it away as part of anything you sell.
  • Upload it anywhere it can be downloaded by others.
  • Share your download link publicly.
  • Reproduce substantial parts of it in your own work without permission.

The text, illustrations and design remain our property. Buying the guide gives you a personal licence to use it, not ownership of it.

This is not medical advice

Survive the Nights is educational and informational. It is not a substitute for personalised medical advice, and it does not replace your doctor, midwife, health visitor or paediatrician. If you are worried about your baby’s health or safety, contact a healthcare professional or your local emergency service.

The guide makes no promise about how or when your baby will sleep, and it is not a sleep-training programme.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for outcomes that depend on how you apply the guide.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of United Kingdom, where the seller is based.

That does not shorten your own rights. Wherever in the world you are buying from, you keep the benefit of every mandatory consumer protection your own country gives you, and nothing in these terms overrides them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought.
